Choosing the Right Rug Matters

We were asked to clean 3 identical polyester rugs for a local restaurant. Due to constant foot traffic, food, and drink spills, these rugs required our Spa service to achieve the best possible results. Our Spa service includes thorough vacuuming on both sides, targeted pre-treatments to help reduce odors and spots, multiple rinses, and repeated cleaning until the rug is as clean as possible. In the Before photo, you’ll notice lighter areas where furniture protected the rug. In the After, the rugs are noticeably brighter overall, with some heavy traffic wear remaining—expected for rugs exposed to long-term, ground-in spills. This is a great example of how Rug Type Matters. Polyester rugs are not ideal for high-traffic commercial spaces and tend to show wear faster. Educating yourself on where a rug will be placed and choosing the correct material can make a big difference in longevity and appearance.
